WELCOME TO FERDINAND THE BULL
Once again we have had the pleasure of staging an outdoor summer play on the beautiful Sapphire Coast.
Watching live theatre on a warm summer's day with the kids and a picnic basket, under the shade of a tree is a delight that should not be missed!
Everyone will enjoy the story of the little bull called Ferdinand who just wants to sit under his favourite tree and smell the flowers...until one day, the local duke needs a fierce bull for a bullfight...!
Many grownups will remember reading the book The Story of Ferdinand when they were little, or seeing the 1938 Disney cartoon of Ferdinand The Bull that won an Oscar the same year.
This charming story about being yourself and not having to be a bully has recently been adapted for the stage by award-winning US playwright Karen Zacarias, with music by Deborah Wicks La Puma.

You'll love the other characters in the play too, including Cochina, Ferdinand's piggy friend with stars in her eyes, the bossy Duke Dodó, and his gentle son Duquito Danilo as well as various animal characters.
Journey back with us to 1930s Spain, with the exciting sights and sounds of flamenco dancers and live guitar music performed by Guitarama.
See you at the show!
